Janna is a freelance journalist and documentary filmmaker. She received her master’s degree in documentary filmmaking from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in New York City.

Previously, Janna was an Assistant Editor at Radical Media in New York, where she worked on projects for NBC Peacock, PBS, the History Channel and more.

Since 2018, she has worked as a freelance video editor for numerous content creators, such as Gals On The Go Podcast, Brooke Miccio, Haley Hoffman Smith, Renee Amberg and Taylor Wynn.

Janna graduated Salutatorian of her class from Hunter College, where she majored in Film and Human Rights.

Her favorite film is The Graduate.
